Overview
A weekend tour for families, couples, nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Start in Kolkata with a drive to Godkhali, then a motorboat cruise through mangrove rivers and creeks. Visits include the Sajnekhali and Sudhanyakhali watch towers and the Dobanki canopy walk. Stay at an eco-resort with Bengali meals; a folk cultural programme may be available. Itinerary
Day 1: Gosaba & Pakhiralaya stay
Early pickup in a private AC vehicle. Visit Gosaba's bungalows, Sajnekhali watchtower and interpretation center, and Pakhir Jangal. Check into a Pakhiralaya hotel/resort. Evening folk programme (if available) and Bengali dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Wildlife safari & return
Sunrise boat safari. Visit Sudhanyakhali watchtower, sail through Pirkhali, Gazikhali, Deul Varani and Banbibi Varani creeks, walk the Do-Banki canopy and see Panchamukhani Mohona. After lunch, sail to Godkhali and return to Kolkata by AC vehicle.
