GANGASAGAR – Day Excursion
Morning tour starts for a full-day excursion to Gangasagar – an island at the confluence of the River Ganga and the Bay of Bengal, famous for the Kapil Muni Ashram, which holds great religious significance, and the Holy Bath (Snan). Evening return back to Kolkata.
Route
Morning pickup from Kolkata hotel, city, airport, Sealdah or Howrah station by private vehicle to Lot 8 Harwood Point Jetty. On reaching the jetty, a pre-booked private charter ferry takes you across the Muriganga River to Gangasagar Island Jetty. On arrival a private vehicle takes you to Kapilmuni Ashram. In the evening, return to Kolkata using the same route.
