Gangasagar is one of West Bengal's most important pilgrimage destinations. The sacred island draws devotees to the Kapil Muni Temple, the peaceful Gangasagar Sangam and the Bay of Bengal, along with a memorable ferry ride across the Muriganga River.
Day 1: pickup from Kolkata Airport, Howrah, Sealdah or another agreed point, then travel towards Kakdwip and Lot No. 8, cross by ferry and continue to Gangasagar. Check in and relax.
Day 2: Gangasagar pilgrimage – Kapil Muni Temple and Sangam – then return to Kolkata for city sightseeing such as Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral, Prinsep Ghat and the Hooghly riverside.
Day 3: breakfast, hotel check-out and transfer to the airport or railway station as per your departure schedule.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kolkata Airport / Railway Station – Gangasagar
Approx. road distance: 105–125 km + ferry crossing. Pickup from Kolkata Airport, Howrah, Sealdah or another agreed location, then drive towards Kakdwip and Lot No. 8, Harwood Point. Cross the Muriganga River by ferry to Kachuberia and continue by road to Sagar Island. Check in to your hotel and relax; depending on arrival time you can visit the nearby beach.
Overnight stay: Gangasagar. Meals: Dinner, if included in the selected package.
Note: an AC vehicle is provided from Kolkata to the ferry ghat (Lot No. 8 / Harwood Point) and back. After the ferry to Kachuberia a private car takes you to Sagar Island. Ferry cost and local vehicle cost from Kachuberia to Sagar Island are included in this package.
Day 2: Gangasagar – Kolkata City Sightseeing
Approx. 105–125 km + ferry crossing. After breakfast visit Kapil Muni Temple / Ashram, then Gangasagar Sangam – the meeting point of the Ganga and the Bay of Bengal. Spend time at the beach; pilgrims may take a holy bath according to their beliefs. Return via Kachuberia and the ferry, then drive to Kolkata for sightseeing: Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial and the Maidan, and – if time permits – St. Paul's Cathedral and an evening drive along the Hooghly. Prinsep Ghat and other attractions can be added.
Overnight stay: Kolkata. Meals: Breakfast.
Day 3: Kolkata Hotel – Airport / Railway Station
Approx. local transfer: 10–25 km. Breakfast and check-out, then transfer to the airport, Howrah, Sealdah or another agreed departure point. If your departure is later in the day, extra Kolkata sightseeing can be arranged at additional charge, subject to availability.
Meals: Breakfast. Tour ends.
