Day 1: Arrival & check-in
Pickup in Kolkata, road to Lot 8 Harwood Point, ferry crossing, local vehicle to Gangasagar, check-in and an evening guided area visit.
Day 2: Preparation & sightseeing
Visit the Sangam, Kapil Muni Temple, Gangasagar Beach and nearby spots; the guide explains the route for the main bath day.
Day 3: Punya Snan & darshan
Early start to the Sangam under crowd arrangements, holy bath per local rules, then Kapil Muni Temple darshan and rest.

The Mela is held around Makar Sankranti in mid-January. Makar Sankranti 2027 falls on 14 January and the main holy dip is expected on 15 January 2027. Exact snan timing follows the official Mela notification, so please confirm before you book.
Is the ferry timing fixed during the Mela?
